About Priority Two
Priority Two is an all-volunteer, Christian-based non-profit organization providing pro-active job search skills training, career counseling and support for people who are unemployed, under-employed or experiencing career transition.
Priority Two provides services for people of all belief systems in a positive atmosphere of compassion and concern.
Recognizing the importance and value of each individual in job search, Priority Two helps participants identify gifts, talents, skills, interests and attributes, provides additional job search skills as needed, and prepares individuals to market and deliver value within the workplace.
Priority Two supports job seekers through state-of-the-art job search training programs that include lectures, readings, small group work, interactive discussions, role-playing and more.
Priority Two provides all job seekers - from those entering the workforce for the first time to those transitioning from senior-level professional positions - with the search skills needed to "find the job that is right for you."
Networking for jobs is a critical part of every job seekers strategy. At Priority Two we provide an excellent venue for learning and practicing the art of networking.
BOARD OF TRUSTEES
Maryann Phillips - Chair
Maryann is an Internal Placement Recruiter with PNC Financial Services
where she has worked for the past 12 years in various recruiting roles.
Maryann has been an instructor with Priority Two for six years, and has been a member of the Priority Two Board of Trustees for two years. She currently serves as the Board Chair.
Gene was an HR Business Partner for Verizon Wireless, providing HR support in the Retail Sales, Indirect Sales and Sales Operations functions. He has been a long-time volunteer for Priority Two utilizing his 15 plus years of HR knowledge; guiding participants through the interviewing maze as well as assisting in Networking and Resume Writing.
As a Navy veteran, Gene also participates in local initiatives to assist veterans in their transition out of the military with many connections to other veteran-related community organizations.
He is also a member of the Board of Trustees.
Susanne Killmeyer, Secretary
A Workforce Development Professional for more than 12 years, Susanne Killmeyer has been a Business Services Consultant at PA CareerLink’s Downtown office for one year. As a Job Developer at RTC, (Reemployment Transition Center) from 2002–2011, she assisted job seekers with resumes, interviewing, and career counseling, and established effective relationships with employers to identify job openings.
Skilled in Career Advisement, Customer Relations, and Business Development, she has held positions in both corporate and human service organizations. Previous experience was more than 15 years of retail management at department store corporations where she was involved in various facets of human resources, purchasing, and marketing.
Keeping abreast of local labor market information and current events, she attends job fairs, Workforce Investment Board, chamber of commerce, community, and professional meetings regularly.
By determining employers’ needs and identifying opportunities for job seekers, Susanne has proven success in assisting job candidates in Allegheny County enter the workforce to stay self-sufficient.
Susanne has an Associate’s Degree from Penn State; and studied Marketing at Southern Oregon State University.
Richard Horn – Chair, Community Relations
Dick is spreading awareness of Priority Two’s services into the community beyond its historical “word-of-mouth” range. By raising Priority Two’s profile with community organizations and businesses, more people needing its services will find us.
For the past three years, Dick served as Executive Director of Priority Two, leading its mission of assisting unemployed individuals in finding positive work opportunities and returning to productive roles in their families and communities.
He provided personal introductions to all new participants, helping them to approach their job searches positively and creatively. He also brought new resources and speakers to the P2 programs, and developed in-depth connections with other organizations having similar missions.
A career corporate attorney and business counselor, Dick has previously applied his relational skills and legal expertise in regulatory, corporation law, contract negotiating, and project management roles in manufacturing, health care, and education organizations.

Tuesday night classes are in the Student Lounge; Go to the back of the church on the 2nd floor. Easiest parking is go the back of the church near their patio and come in the back double doors (you should see a sign)
